Surplus ammo is available in a wide range of conditions - Fresh and new to nasty, corroded and old. Most older surplus ammo is corrosively primed and requires thorough cleaning shortly after firing. This ammunition is also usually Berdan-primed, and/or steel-cased and may not be reloadable.
